Lobby bars

Opened from 9am - 11pm.

Each lobby has a bar. These bars are reasonably quiet during the day. There are seating areas, television and a coffee bar. These bars get pretty busy at night and are a lot of fun. The mariachi band goes to each lobby bar some nights, great photo opportunities. The band is excellent. There are waitresses serving tables but many guests go straight to the bartender.

The Beach and Caribe Beach lobby bars are not air-conditioned. They are fairly casual. The Tropical Beach lobby bar, named Tequila, is also open air with beautiful tropical decor. The Colonial Beach lobby Bar (Puebla) is air conditioned with more formal colonial style decor.

Salon Havana cigar lounge

There's a tiny cigar lounge/bar in the Tropical lobby. It is opened from 3pm to 11pm. There are cigars for sale as well as a full bar. The bar is air conditioned but there is an adjoining verandah that overlooks the grounds.

Pool bars

Opened from 9am - 7pm, each pool has it's own bar. The bars are round with the bar in the centre.

One side of each bar is on the dry side, with barstools and it's own bartender/drinks. There are also self serve machines for a few common drinks.

The other side is in the pool with stools in the water, also has it's own bartender/drinks. There's nothing like sipping on a margarita and enjoying the pool.

The pool bars are adjoining to the beach grills, which has food all day, as well as coffee, ice cream, etc.

Marina bar

There's a tiny bar on the beach by the pier. It is opened from 9am - 5pm. It has chairs and tables with gorgeous blue umbrellas overlooking the beach. There's also a tiny grill for hamburgers and pizza at lunchtime.

Theatre bars

The theatres have 2 bars each as well. They are opened from 6pm to 12am. They open before the shows and after the shows while other bars close at 11pm, you can still get a drink here if you don't want to go to the disco.

Other bars

In addition to all those bars, there is a bar in each buffet and each beach grill. There's also a bar in the lounge areas at the a la carte restaurants in Tropical/Colonial. There's never a shortage for drinks at any time of the day.

Jaguar's Discotheque has a bar and also a premium liquor bar in the VIP area.
