Jaguar's Discotheque is located in the Colonial Plaza next to the Colonial Beach lobby. It's a short trek from the Beach/Caribe side but completely worth it. The disco is similar to a club with an amazing light, laser and sound show.

Hours and admission

It opens every night at 11:00 p.m. and is for 18 years and older. Bracelets are checked by security.

Inside the disco is a bar with stools. Otherwise the area is large and open with no other seating.

VIP area

There is a VIP area above the bar, overlooking the disco. VIP guests with VIP bracelets can access this area or there is a charge of $5-$15 for other guests. Premium liquor is included in the VIP area and there are usually some munchies and snacks. There is no dancefloor up here so you have to go up and down the stairs when you want to join the party.

Music

They play all types of music, with alot of techno/hip-hop dance tracks. The atmosphere of the disco is incredible though. It's alot like a club from home with loud music, smoke, video screens and flashing lights. They even have their own go-go dancers each night. They still play the Barcelo theme songs like un, dos, tres to get the crowd up and dancing the night away. Most of the songs are fast, but they do play the odd slow one to get romantic with your honey!

Doesn't matter what your age is, I highly recommend you check out the new disco and shake what your mamma gave ya!!

Teen nights

There are teen nights every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. when no alcohol is served.
