Buffets

There is a buffet restaurant for each section of the resort.

The Beach/Caribe buffets are open air, cooled with fans. These buffets are available to all guests staying at Beach/Caribe and Tropical/Colonial.

The Tropical/Colonial buffets are air conditioned and only available to guests staying at Tropical/Colonial (not Beach/Caribe)

Breakfast

At breakfast, you will find something to suit  every diet. There are made to order eggs and pancakes. Fresh fruit, several freshly squeezed juices, yougurt, fresh bread. Bacon, sausage, cereal, milk (chocolate milk too), hot chocolate, coffee in carafes or speciality coffees made to order. Hash browns, beans, waffles, just about everything you could imagine.

Lunch

Lunch is a scaled down version of dinner. There is always a pasta station, a variety of meats, grilled meats, fish, fresh bread, nachos. There is also a good selection of desserts, pies, mousses, fruit, yougart.

Dinner

Dinner was a bit more of a production. There was a huge variety, lots of salad, bread, soup.. their soups are great everytime! You wouldn't think to try soup in hot weather, but don't pass it up! Meats, fish, very often shrimp, salsa and guacamole (my favourite), cheeses, vegetables, starches (rice, potatoes). There is something to suit every taste at every meal. I felt the food was quite good, and most of what I tried was tasty. No one should go hungry, and everyone will find something to satisfy them. If you get something you don't like, just leave it and go get something else. I think the problem with most people at buffets, is they tend to want to try everything and want it all to be to their taste. Normally at home you'd have a veggie, meat and starch, you don't have to eat everything! Also remember the dishes may not be exactly as it would be in your home town, they have to cater to people with palates from all over the world.

Theme nights

The buffets have nightly themes. They change occasionally so check the board by guest services to see the schedule. It may be worthwhile looking at the schedule before booking your a la carte dinner to make sure you don't miss your favourite night.
