Just got back from the barcelo maya palace, spent easter there. Wow, I have travelled alot but this is a real nice place. The staff was real nice the rooms were, the best I have seen, I hope they keep it up, not because the hotel is brand new. Only really 2 complaints. One the fridges in the rooms don't really keep anything cold, also the Theme dining rooms are great but booking them is really unfair. You can book them up to 2 weeks in advance,so when we got there the people from the week before book all the rooms for the whole week. So they say you can go to 4 or 5 of these ,but your lucky if you get one. They should have it at least the day before, but besides that there buffet, is I think just about as good.
