Weddings are available at the resort for an additional fee. We were married there in April 2006 at a small beachfront ceremony. It was a dream, relaxing, memorable and stress-free. You are assigned a wedding coordinator who handles every single detail.

The marriage is legal in Mexico only. Barcelo Maya offers the apostille seal in the marriage document (sent 3-4 months after wedding ceremony), to legalize the marriage in your country.

Photos are available from the resort Photo Shop. You can contact them at photocaribbean@prodigy.net.mx. You cannot bring outside photographers in for your wedding unless they are already a guest at the hotel.
The weddings department sends a list of weddings to the Photo Shop and they are scheduled. You should re-confirm with them when you arrive. The Photo Shop is located in the Caribe Lobby.
